3:2 和合本 約薩達的兒子耶書亞和他的弟兄眾祭司,並撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯與他的弟兄,都起來建築以色列神的壇,要照神人摩西律法書上所寫的,在壇上獻燔祭。
KJV Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God

3:3 和合本 他們在原有的根基上築壇,因懼怕鄰國的民,又在其上向耶和華早晚獻燔祭,
KJV And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD, even burnt offerings morning and evening.
ASV And they set the altar upon its base; for fear was upon them because of the peoples of the countries: and they offered burnt-offerings thereon unto Jehovah, even burnt-offerings morning and evening.
YLT And they establish the altar on its bases, because of the fear upon them of the peoples of the lands, and he causeth burnt-offerings to ascend upon it to Jehovah, burnt-offerings for the morning and for the evening.

3:4 和合本 又照律法書上所寫的守住棚節,按數照例獻每日所當獻的燔祭;
KJV They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;

3:5 和合本 其後獻常獻的燔祭,並在月朔與耶和華的一切聖節獻祭,又向耶和華獻各人的甘心祭。
KJV And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the LORD.

3:6 和合本 從七月初一日起,他們就向耶和華獻燔祭。但耶和華殿的根基尚未立定。
KJV From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid.

3:7 和合本 他們又將銀子給石匠、木匠,把糧食、酒、油給西頓人、推羅人,使他們將香柏樹從利巴嫩運到海裡,浮海運到約帕,是照波斯王古列所允准的。
KJV They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.
ASV They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and food, and drink, and oil, unto them of Sidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar-trees from Lebanon to the sea, unto Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.

3:8 和合本 百姓到了耶路撒冷神殿的地方。第二年二月,撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯,約薩達的兒子耶書亞和其餘的弟兄,就是祭司、利未人,並一切被擄歸回耶路撒冷的人,都興工建造;又派利未人,從二十歲以外的,督理建造耶和華殿的工作。

KJV And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.
ASV And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Jehovah, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, after the order of David king of Israel.
YLT And those building have founded the temple of Jehovah, and they appoint the priests, clothed, with trumpets, and the Levites, sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, by means of `the instruments of' David king of Israel.

KJV And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house
ASV And they sang one to another in praising and giving thanks unto Jehovah, `saying', For he is good, for his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised Jehovah, because the foundation of the house of Jehovah was laid.
YLT And they respond in praising and in giving thanks to Jehovah, for good, for to the age His kindness `is' over Israel, and all the people have shouted -- a great shout -- in giving praise to Jehovah, because the house of Jehovah hath been founded.
BBE And they gave praise to the Lord, answering one another in their songs and saying, For he is good, for his mercy to Israel is eternal. And all the people gave a great cry of joy, when they gave praise to the Lord, because the base of the Lord's house was put in place.

3:12 和合本 然而有許多祭司、利未人、族長,就是見過舊殿的老年人,現在親眼看見立這殿的根基,便大聲哭號,也有許多人大聲歡呼,
KJV But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:
ASV But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers' `houses', the old men that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:

3:13 和合本 甚至百姓不能分辨歡呼的聲音和哭號的聲音;因為眾人大聲呼喊,聲音聽到遠處。
KJV So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.
