22:2 和合本 凡受窘迫的、欠債的、心裡苦惱的都聚集到大衛那裡;大衛就作他們的頭目,跟隨他的約有四百人。

22:3 和合本 大衛從那裡往摩押的米斯巴去,對摩押王說:「求你容我父母搬來,住在你們這裡,等我知道神要為我怎樣行。」
KJV And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.

22:4 和合本 大衛領他父母到摩押王面前。大衛住山寨多少日子,他父母也住摩押王那裡多少日子。

22:5 和合本 先知迦得對大衛說:「你不要住在山寨,要往猶大地去。」大衛就離開那裡,進入哈列的樹林。
KJV And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.

YLT And Gad the prophet saith unto David, `Thou dost not abide in a fortress, go, and thou hast entered for thee the land of Judah;' and David goeth and entereth the forest of Hareth.
BBE And the prophet Gad said to David, Do not go on living in this place but go into the land of Judah. Then David went away and came to the woodland of Hereth.

22:6 和合本 掃羅在基比亞的拉瑪,坐在垂絲柳樹下,手裡拿著槍,眾臣僕侍立在左右。掃羅聽見大衛和跟隨他的人在何處,
KJV When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)
ASV And Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him: now Saul was sitting in Gibeah, under the tamarisk-tree in Ramah, with his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him.
YLT And Saul heareth that David hath become known, and the men who `are' with him, and Saul is abiding in Gibeah, under the grove in Ramah, and his spear `is' in his hand, and all his servants standing by him.
BBE And news was given to Saul that David had been seen, and the men who were with him: now Saul was in Gibeah, seated under the tree in the high place, with his spear in his hand, and all his servants were in their places before him.

22:7 和合本 就對左右侍立的臣僕說:「便雅憫人哪,你們要聽我的話!耶西的兒子能將田地和葡萄園賜給你們各人嗎?能立你們各人作千夫長百夫長嗎?
KJV Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;

22:8 和合本 你們竟都結黨害我!我的兒子與耶西的兒子結盟的時候,無人告訴我;我的兒子挑唆我的臣子謀害我,就如今日的光景,也無人告訴我,為我憂慮。」
KJV That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that showeth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or showeth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie
ASV that all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that discloseth to me when my son maketh a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or discloseth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
YLT for ye have conspired all of you against me, and there is none uncovering mine ear about my son's covenanting with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you grieving for me, and uncovering mine ear, that my son hath raised up my servant against me, to lie in wait as `at' this day.'
BBE That all of you have made designs against me, and not one of you gave me word when my son made an agreement with the son of Jesse, and not one of you has pity for me or has made my eyes open to the fact that my servant has been moved by my son against me, as at this day?
WEB that all of you have conspired against me, and there is none who discloses to me when my son makes a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you who is sorry for me, or discloses to me that my son has stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
22:9 和合本 那時以東人多益站在掃羅的臣僕中,對他說:「我曾看見耶西的兒子到了挪伯,亞希突的兒子亞希米勒那裡。
KJV Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.
ASV Then answered Doeg the Edomite, who stood by the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.
YLT And answer doth Doeg the Edomite, who is set over the servants of Saul, and saith, `I have seen the son of Jesse coming in to Nob, unto Ahimelech son of Ahitub,
BBE Then Doeg, the Edomite, who was by the side of the servants of Saul, in answer said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech, the son of Ahitub.

22:10 和合本 亞希米勒為他求問耶和華,又給他食物,並給他殺非利士人歌利亞的刀。」
KJV And he inquired of the LORD for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.

22:13 和合本 掃羅對他說:「你為什麼與耶西的兒子結黨害我,將食物和刀給他,又為他求問神,使他起來謀害我,就如今日的光景?」
KJV And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

WEB Saul said to him, Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
22:14 和合本 亞希米勒回答王說:「王的臣僕中有誰比大衛忠心呢?他是王的女婿,又是王的參謀,並且在王家中是尊貴的。
KJV Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honorable in thine house?
ASV Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who among all thy servants is so faithful as David, who is the king's son-in-law, and is taken into thy council, and is honorable in thy house?
YLT And Ahimelech answereth the king and saith, `And who among all thy servants `is' as David -- faithful, and son-in-law of the king, and hath turned aside unto thy council, and is honoured in thy house?
BBE Then Ahimelech answering said to the king, Who among all your servants is so true to you as David, who is the king's son-in-law, and is a captain of your armed men, and has a place of honour in your house?
WEB Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, Who among all your servants is so faithful as David, who is the king's son-in-law, and is taken into your council, and is honorable in your house?
22:15 和合本 我豈是從今日才為他求問神呢?斷不是這樣!王不要將罪歸我和我父的全家;因為這事,無論大小,僕人都不知道。」
KJV Did I then begin to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.
ASV Have I to-day begun to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute anything unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for thy servant knoweth nothing of all this, less or more.
YLT To-day have I begun to ask for him at God? far be it from me! let not the king lay anything against his servant, against any of the house of my father, for thy servant hath known nothing of all this, less or more.'
BBE Is this the first time I have got directions from God for him? Far be the thought! let the king make no such statement against his servant or my father's family, for your servant has no knowledge, great or small, of this thing.
WEB Have I today begun to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: don't let the king impute anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for your servant knows nothing of all this, less or more.
22:16 和合本 王說:「亞希米勒啊,你和你父的全家都是該死的!」
KJV And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father's house.
ASV And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father's house.

22:17 和合本 王就吩咐左右的侍衛說:「你們去殺耶和華的祭司;因為他們幫助大衛,又知道大衛逃跑,竟沒有告訴我。」掃羅的臣子卻不肯伸手殺耶和華的祭司。
KJV And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD: because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not show it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their h
ASV And the king said unto the guard that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of Jehovah; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled, and did not disclose it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of Jehovah.
YLT And the king saith to runners, those standing by him, `Turn round, and put to death the priests of Jehovah, because their hand also `is' with David, and because they have known that he is fleeing, and have not uncovered mine ear;' and the servants of the king have not been willing to put forth their hand to come against the priests of Jehovah.
BBE Then the king said to the runners who were waiting near him, Put the priests of the Lord to death; because they are on David's side, and having knowledge of his flight, did not give me word of it. But the king's servants would not put out their hands to make an attack on the Lord's priests.
WEB The king said to the guard who stood about him, Turn, and kill the priests of Yahweh; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled, and didn't disclose it to me. But the servants of the king wouldn't put forth their hand to fall on the priests of Yahweh.
22:18 和合本 王吩咐多益說:「你去殺祭司吧!」以東人多益就去殺祭司,那日殺了穿細麻布以弗得的八十五人;

22:19 和合本 又用刀將祭司城挪伯中的男女、孩童、吃奶的,和牛、羊、驢盡都殺滅。
KJV And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.

KJV And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house.

YLT And David saith to Abiathar, `I have known on that day when Doeg the Edomite `is' there, that he doth certainly declare `it' to Saul; I have brought `it' round to every person of the house of thy father;
BBE And David said to Abiathar, I was certain that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would take the news to Saul: I am responsible for the lives of all your father's family.

22:23 和合本 你可以住在我這裡,不要懼怕。因為尋索你命的就是尋索我的命;你在我這裡可得保全。」
KJV Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.
