Worn-out; old; cast-off.Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die. So Ebedmelech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence old CAST clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah. To fish with a hook.The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more. The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that CAST ANGLE into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. ( Isaiah 19:7-8 )
