2:1 和合本 尼布甲尼撒在位第二年,他做了夢,心裡煩亂,不能睡覺。
KJV And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.

2:3 和合本 王對他們說:「我做了一夢,心裡煩亂,要知道這是什麼夢。」

2:4 和合本 迦勒底人用亞蘭的言語對王說:「願王萬歲!請將那夢告訴僕人,僕人就可以講解。」

2:5 和合本 王回答迦勒底人說:「夢我已經忘了(或作:我已定命;八節同),你們若不將夢和夢的講解告訴我,就必被凌遲,你們的房屋必成為糞堆;
KJV The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.

2:6 和合本 你們若將夢和夢的講解告訴我,就必從我這裡得贈品和賞賜,並大尊榮。現在你們要將夢和夢的講解告訴我。」
KJV But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.

2:7 和合本 他們第二次對王說:「請王將夢告訴僕人,僕人就可以講解。」

KJV But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretati

YLT `so' that, if the dream ye do not cause me to know -- one is your sentence, seeing a word lying and corrupt ye have prepared to speak before me, till that the time is changed, therefore the dream tell ye to me, then do I know that its interpretation ye do shew me.'
BBE That if you do not make my dream clear to me there is only one fate for you: for you have made ready false and evil words to say before me till the times are changed: so give me an account of the dream, and I will be certain that you are able to make the sense of it clear.

2:14 和合本 王的護衛長亞略出來,要殺巴比倫的哲士,但以理就用婉言回答他,

2:29 和合本 王啊,你在床上想到後來的事,那顯明奧秘事的主把將來必有的事指示你。
KJV As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.
ASV as for thee, O king, thy thoughts came `into thy mind' upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter; and he that revealeth secrets hath made known to thee what shall come to pass.
YLT Thou, O king, thy thoughts on thy bed have come up `concerning' that which `is' to be after this, and the Revealer of secrets hath caused thee to know that which `is' to be.

KJV But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.
