13:1 和合本 這一切,我眼都見過;我耳都聽過,而且明白。
KJV Lo, mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it.
ASV Lo, mine eye hath seen all `this', Mine ear hath heard and understood it.
YLT Lo, all -- hath mine eye seen, Heard hath mine ear, and it attendeth to it.
BBE Truly, my eye has seen all this, word of it has come to my ear, and I have knowledge of it.

13:2 和合本 你們所知道的,我也知道,並非不及你們。
KJV What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.
ASV What ye know, `the same' do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.
YLT According to your knowledge I have known -- also I. I am not fallen more than you.
BBE The same things are in my mind as in yours; I am equal to you.
WEB What you know, I know also.
13:3 和合本 我真要對全能者說話;我願與神理論。
KJV Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
ASV Surely I would speak to the Almighty, And I desire to reason with God.
YLT Yet I for the Mighty One do speak, And to argue for God I delight.
BBE But I would have talk with the Ruler of all, and my desire is to have an argument with God.

13:4 和合本 你們是編造謊言的,都是無用的醫生。
KJV But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
ASV But ye are forgers of lies; Ye are all physicians of no value.
YLT And yet, ye `are' forgers of falsehood, Physicians of nought -- all of you,
BBE But you put a false face on things; all your attempts to put things right are of no value.
WEB But you are forgers of lies.
13:5 和合本 惟願你們全然不作聲;這就算為你們的智慧!
KJV O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
ASV Oh that ye would altogether hold your peace! And it would be your wisdom.
YLT O that ye would keep perfectly silent, And it would be to you for wisdom.
BBE If only you would keep quiet, it would be a sign of wisdom!
WEB Oh that you would be completely silent!
13:6 和合本 請你們聽我的辯論,留心聽我口中的分訴。
KJV Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
ASV Hear now my reasoning, And hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
YLT Hear, I pray you, my argument, And to the pleadings of my lips attend,
BBE Give ear to the argument of my mouth, and take note of the words of my lips.
WEB Hear now my reasoning.
13:7 和合本 你們要為神說不義的話嗎?為他說詭詐的言語嗎?
KJV Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
ASV Will ye speak unrighteously for God, And talk deceitfully for him?
YLT For God do ye speak perverseness? And for Him do ye speak deceit?
BBE Will you say in God's name what is not right, and put false words into his mouth?
WEB Will you speak unrighteously for God,
13:8 和合本 你們要為神徇情嗎?要為他爭論嗎?
KJV Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
ASV Will ye show partiality to him? Will ye contend for God?
YLT His face do ye accept, if for God ye strive?
BBE Will you have respect for God's person in this cause, and put yourselves forward as his supporters?
WEB Will you show partiality to him?
13:9 和合本 他查出你們來,這豈是好嗎?人欺哄人,你們也要照樣欺哄他嗎?
KJV Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
ASV Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceiveth a man, will ye deceive him?
YLT Is `it' good that He doth search you, If, as one mocketh at a man, ye mock at Him?
BBE Will it be good for you to be searched out by him, or have you the thought that he may be guided into error like a man?
WEB Is it good that he should search you out?
13:10 和合本 你們若暗中徇情,他必要責備你們。
KJV He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
ASV He will surely reprove you If ye do secretly show partiality.
YLT He doth surely reprove you, if in secret ye accept faces.
BBE He will certainly put you right, if you have respect for persons in secret.
WEB He will surely reprove you
13:11 和合本 他的尊榮豈不叫你們懼怕嗎?他的驚嚇豈不臨到你們嗎?
KJV Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
ASV Shall not his majesty make you afraid, And his dread fall upon you?
YLT Doth not His excellency terrify you? And His dread fall upon you?
BBE Will not his glory put you in fear, so that your hearts will be overcome before him?
WEB Shall not his majesty make you afraid,
13:12 和合本 你們以為可記念的箴言是爐灰的箴言;你們以為可靠的堅壘是淤泥的堅壘。
KJV Your remembrances are like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
ASV Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes, Your defences are defences of clay.
YLT Your remembrances `are' similes of ashes, For high places of clay your heights.
BBE Your wise sayings are only dust, and your strong places are only earth.
WEB Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes,
13:13 和合本 你們不要作聲,任憑我吧!讓我說話,無論如何我都承當。
KJV Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.
ASV Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak; And let come on me what will.
YLT Keep silent from me, and I speak, And pass over me doth what?
BBE Keep quiet, and let me say what is in my mind, whatever may come to me.

13:14 和合本 我何必把我的肉掛在牙上,將我的命放在手中。
KJV Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
ASV Wherefore should I take my flesh in my teeth, And put my life in my hand?
YLT Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth? And my soul put in my hand?
BBE I will take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand.
WEB Why should I take my flesh in my teeth,
13:15 和合本 他必殺我;我雖無指望,然而我在他面前還要辯明我所行的。
KJV Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
ASV Behold, he will slay me; I have no hope: Nevertheless I will maintain my ways before him.
YLT Lo, He doth slay me -- I wait not! Only, my ways unto His face I argue.
BBE Truly, he will put an end to me; I have no hope; but I will not give way in argument before him;
WEB Behold, he will kill me; I have no hope.
13:16 和合本 這要成為我的拯救,因為不虔誠的人不得到他面前。
KJV He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
ASV This also shall be my salvation, That a godless man shall not come before him.
YLT Also -- He `is' to me for salvation, For the profane cometh not before Him.
BBE And that will be my salvation, for an evil-doer would not come before him,
WEB This also shall be my salvation,
13:17 和合本 你們要細聽我的言語,使我所辯論的入你們的耳中。
KJV Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
ASV Hear diligently my speech, And let my declaration be in your ears.
YLT Hear ye diligently my word, And my declaration with your ears.
BBE Give ear with care to my words, and keep what I say in your minds.
WEB Hear diligently my speech.
13:18 和合本 我已陳明我的案,知道自己有義。
KJV Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
ASV Behold now, I have set my cause in order; I know that I am righteous.
YLT Lo, I pray you, I have set in order the cause, I have known that I am righteous.
BBE See now, I have put my cause in order, and I am certain that I will be seen to be right.
WEB See now, I have set my cause in order.
13:19 和合本 有誰與我爭論,我就情願緘默不言,氣絕而亡。
KJV Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
ASV Who is he that will contend with me? For then would I hold my peace and give up the ghost.
YLT Who `is' he that doth strive with me? For now I keep silent and gasp.
BBE Is any one able to take up the argument against me? If so, I would keep quiet and give up my breath.
WEB Who is he who will contend with me?
13:20 和合本 惟有兩件不要向我施行,我就不躲開你的面:
KJV Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
ASV Only do not two things unto me; Then will I not hide myself from thy face:
YLT Only two things, O God, do with me: Then from Thy face I am not hidden.
BBE Only two things do not do to me, then I will come before your face:

13:21 和合本 就是把你的手縮回,遠離我身;又不使你的驚惶威嚇我。
KJV Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
ASV Withdraw thy hand far from me; And let not thy terror make me afraid.
YLT Thy hand put far off from me, And Thy terror let not terrify me.
BBE Take your hand far away from me; and let me not be overcome by fear of you.
WEB Withdraw your hand far from me;
13:22 和合本 這樣,你呼叫,我就回答;或是讓我說話,你回答我。
KJV Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
ASV Then call thou, and I will answer; Or let me speak, and answer thou me.
YLT And call Thou, and I -- I answer, Or -- I speak, and answer Thou me.
BBE Then at the sound of your voice I will give answer; or let me put forward my cause for you to give me an answer.
WEB Then call, and I will answer;
13:23 和合本 我的罪孽和罪過有多少呢?求你叫我知道我的過犯與罪愆。
KJV How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
ASV How many are mine iniquities and sins? Make me to know my transgression and my sin.
YLT How many iniquities and sins have I? My transgression and my sin let me know.
BBE What is the number of my evil-doings and my sins? give me knowledge of them.

13:24 和合本 你為何掩面、拿我當仇敵呢?
KJV Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?
ASV Wherefore hidest thou thy face, And holdest me for thine enemy?
YLT Why dost Thou hide Thy face? And reckonest me for an enemy to Thee?
BBE Why is your face veiled from me, as if I was numbered among your haters?
WEB Why hide you your face,
13:25 和合本 你要驚動被風吹的葉子嗎?要追趕枯乾的碎稓嗎?
KJV Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
ASV Wilt thou harass a driven leaf? And wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
YLT A leaf driven away dost Thou terrify? And the dry stubble dost Thou pursue?
BBE Will you be hard on a leaf in flight before the wind? will you make a dry stem go more quickly on its way?
WEB Will you harass a driven leaf?
13:26 和合本 你按罪狀刑罰我,又使我擔當幼年的罪孽;
KJV For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
ASV For thou writest bitter things against me, And makest me to inherit the iniquities of my youth:
YLT For Thou writest against me bitter things, And causest me to possess iniquities of my youth:
BBE For you put bitter things on record against me, and send punishment on me for the sins of my early years;
WEB For you write bitter things against me,
13:27 和合本 也把我的腳上了木狗,並窺察我一切的道路,為我的腳掌劃定界限。
KJV Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
ASV Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, And markest all my paths; Thou settest a bound to the soles of my feet:
YLT And puttest in the stocks my feet, And observest all my paths, On the roots of my feet Thou settest a print,
BBE And you put chains on my feet, watching all my ways, and making a limit for my steps;
WEB You also put my feet in the stocks,
13:28 和合本 我已經像滅絕的爛物,像蟲蛀的衣裳。
KJV And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
ASV Though I am like a rotten thing that consumeth, Like a garment that is moth-eaten.
YLT And he, as a rotten thing, weareth away, As a garment hath a moth consumed him.
BBE Though a man comes to nothing like a bit of dead wood, or like a robe which has become food for the worm.
WEB Though I am decaying like a rotten thing,
