30:1 和合本 但如今,比我年少的人戲笑我;其人之父我曾藐視,不肯安在看守我羊群的狗中。
KJV But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.
ASV But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, Whose fathers I disdained to set with the dogs of my flock.
YLT And now, laughed at me, Have the younger in days than I, Whose fathers I have loathed to set With the dogs of my flock.
BBE But now those who are younger than I make sport of me; those whose fathers I would not have put with the dogs of my flocks.

30:2 和合本 他們壯年的氣力既已衰敗,其手之力與我何益呢?
KJV Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?
ASV Yea, the strength of their hands, whereto should it profit me? Men in whom ripe age is perished.
YLT Also -- the power of their hands, why `is it' to me? On them hath old age perished.
BBE Of what use is the strength of their hands to me? all force is gone from them.
WEB Of what use is the strength of their hands to me,
30:3 和合本 他們因窮乏飢餓,身體枯瘦,在荒廢淒涼的幽暗中齦乾燥之地,
KJV For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.
ASV They are gaunt with want and famine; They gnaw the dry ground, in the gloom of wasteness and desolation.
YLT With want and with famine gloomy, Those fleeing to a dry place, Formerly a desolation and waste,
BBE They are wasted for need of food, biting the dry earth; their only hope of life is in the waste land.
WEB They are gaunt from lack and famine.
30:4 和合本 在草叢之中採鹹草,羅騰(小樹名,松類)的根為他們的食物。
KJV Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
ASV They pluck salt-wort by the bushes; And the roots of the broom are their food.
YLT Those cropping mallows near a shrub, And broom-roots `is' their food.
BBE They are pulling off the salt leaves from the brushwood, and making a meal of roots.
WEB They pluck salt herbs by the bushes.
30:5 和合本 他們從人中被趕出;人追喊他們如賊一般,
KJV They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)
ASV They are driven forth from the midst `of men'; They cry after them as after a thief;
YLT From the midst they are cast out, (They shout against them as a thief),
BBE They are sent out from among their townsmen, men are crying after them as thieves
WEB They are driven forth from the midst of men;
30:6 和合本 以致他們住在荒谷之間,在地洞和巖穴中;
KJV To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.
ASV So that they dwell in frightful valleys, In holes of the earth and of the rocks.
YLT In a frightful place of valleys to dwell, Holes of earth and clefts.
BBE They have to get a resting-place in the hollows of the valleys, in holes of the earth and rocks.
WEB So that they dwell in frightful valleys,
30:7 和合本 在草叢中叫喚,在荊棘下聚集。
KJV Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.
ASV Among the bushes they bray; Under the nettles they are gathered together.
YLT Among shrubs they do groan, Under nettles they are gathered together.
BBE They make noises like asses among the brushwood; they get together under the thorns.

30:8 和合本 這都是愚頑下賤人的兒女;他們被鞭打,趕出境外。
KJV They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
ASV `They are' children of fools, yea, children of base men; They were scourged out of the land.
YLT Sons of folly -- even sons without name, They have been smitten from the land.
BBE They are sons of shame, and of men without a name, who have been forced out of the land.
WEB They are children of fools, yes, children of base men.
30:9 和合本 現在這些人以我為歌曲,以我為笑談。
KJV And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.
ASV And now I am become their song, Yea, I am a byword unto them.
YLT And now, their song I have been, And I am to them for a byword.
BBE And now I have become their song, and I am a word of shame to them.

30:10 和合本 他們厭惡我,躲在旁邊站著,不住地吐唾沫在我臉上。
KJV They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.
ASV They abhor me, they stand aloof from me, And spare not to spit in my face.
YLT They have abominated me, They have kept far from me, And from before me have not spared to spit.
BBE I am disgusting to them; they keep away from me, and put marks of shame on me.

30:11 和合本 鬆開他們的繩索苦待我,在我面前脫去轡頭。
KJV Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.
ASV For he hath loosed his cord, and afflicted me; And they have cast off the bridle before me.
YLT Because His cord He loosed and afflicteth me, And the bridle from before me, They have cast away.
BBE For he has made loose the cord of my bow, and put me to shame; he has sent down my flag to the earth before me.
WEB For he has untied his cord, and afflicted me;
30:12 和合本 這等下流人在我右邊起來,推開我的腳,築成戰路來攻擊我。
KJV Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
ASV Upon my right hand rise the rabble; They thrust aside my feet, And they cast up against me their ways of destruction.
YLT On the right hand doth a brood arise, My feet they have cast away, And they raise up against me, Their paths of calamity.
BBE The lines of his men of war put themselves in order, and make high their ways of destruction against me:
WEB On my right hand rise the rabble.
30:13 和合本 這些無人幫助的,毀壞我的道,加增我的災。
KJV They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.
ASV They mar my path, They set forward my calamity, `Even' men that have no helper.
YLT They have broken down my path, By my calamity they profit, `He hath no helper.'
BBE They have made waste my roads, with a view to my destruction; his bowmen come round about me;

30:14 和合本 他們來如同闖進大破口,在毀壞之間滾在我身上。
KJV They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.
ASV As through a wide breach they come: In the midst of the ruin they roll themselves `upon me'.
YLT As a wide breach they come, Under the desolation have rolled themselves.
BBE As through a wide broken place in the wall they come on, I am overturned by the shock of their attack.

30:15 和合本 驚恐臨到我,驅逐我的尊榮如風;我的福祿如雲過去。
KJV Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
ASV Terrors are turned upon me; They chase mine honor as the wind; And my welfare is passed away as a cloud.
YLT He hath turned against me terrors, It pursueth as the wind mine abundance, And as a thick cloud, Hath my safety passed away.
BBE Fears have come on me; my hope is gone like the wind, and my well-being like a cloud.

30:16 和合本 現在我心極其悲傷;困苦的日子將我抓住。
KJV And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
ASV And now my soul is poured out within me; Days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
YLT And now, in me my soul poureth itself out, Seize me do days of affliction.

30:17 和合本 夜間,我裡面的骨頭刺我,疼痛不止,好像齦我。
KJV My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
ASV In the night season my bones are pierced in me, And the `pains' that gnaw me take no rest.
YLT At night my bone hath been pierced in me, And mine eyelids do not lie down.
BBE The flesh is gone from my bones, and they give me no rest; there is no end to my pains.

30:18 和合本 因神的大力,我的外衣污穢不堪,又如裡衣的領子將我纏住。
KJV By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
ASV By `God's' great force is my garment disfigured; It bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
YLT By the abundance of power, Is my clothing changed, As the mouth of my coat it doth gird me.
BBE With great force he takes a grip of my clothing, pulling me by the neck of my coat.

30:19 和合本 神把我扔在淤泥中,我就像塵土和爐灰一般。
KJV He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
ASV He hath cast me into the mire, And I am become like dust and ashes.
YLT Casting me into mire, And I am become like dust and ashes.
BBE Truly God has made me low, even to the earth, and I have become like dust.

30:20 和合本 主啊,我呼求你,你不應允我;我站起來,你就定睛看我。
KJV I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.

30:21 和合本 你向我變心,待我殘忍,又用大能追逼我,
KJV Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.

YLT Thou art turned to be fierce to me, With the strength of Thy hand, Thou oppresest me.
BBE You have become cruel to me; the strength of your hand is hard on me.

30:22 和合本 把我提在風中,使我駕風而行,又使我消滅在烈風中。
KJV Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.
ASV Thou liftest me up to the wind, thou causest me to ride `upon it'; And thou dissolvest me in the storm.
YLT Thou dost lift me up, On the wind Thou dost cause me to ride, And Thou meltest -- Thou levellest me.
BBE Lifting me up, you make me go on the wings of the wind; I am broken up by the storm.

30:23 和合本 我知道要使我臨到死地,到那為眾生所定的陰宅。
KJV For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

YLT For I have known To death Thou dost bring me back, And `to' the house appointed for all living.

30:24 和合本 然而,人仆倒豈不伸手?遇災難豈不求救呢?
KJV Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.
ASV Howbeit doth not one stretch out the hand in his fall? Or in his calamity therefore cry for help?
YLT Surely not against the heap Doth He send forth the hand, Though in its ruin they have safety.
BBE Has not my hand been stretched out in help to the poor? have I not been a saviour to him in his trouble?

30:25 和合本 人遭難,我豈不為他哭泣呢?人窮乏,我豈不為他憂愁呢?
KJV Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?
ASV Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? Was not my soul grieved for the needy?
YLT Did not I weep for him whose day is hard? Grieved hath my soul for the needy.
BBE Have I not been weeping for the crushed? and was not my soul sad for him who was in need?

30:26 和合本 我仰望得好處,災禍就到了;我等待光明,黑暗便來了。
KJV When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.
ASV When I looked for good, then evil came; And when I waited for light, there came darkness.
YLT When good I expected, then cometh evil, And I wait for light, and darkness cometh.

30:27 和合本 我心裡煩擾不安,困苦的日子臨到我身。
KJV My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.

30:30 和合本 我的皮膚黑而脫落;我的骨頭因熱燒焦。
KJV My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

BBE My skin is black and dropping off me; and my bones are burning with the heat of my disease.

30:31 和合本 所以,我的琴音變為悲音;我的簫聲變為哭聲。
KJV My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.
