49:1 和合本 (可拉後裔的詩,交與伶長。)萬民哪,你們都當聽這話!世上一切的居民,
KJV Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
ASV Hear this, all ye peoples; Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world,
YLT To the Overseer. -- By sons of Korah. A Psalm. Hear this, all ye peoples, Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world.
BBE <Alamoth. To the chief music-maker. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.> Give attention to this, all you peoples; let your ears be open, all you who are living in the world.
WEB Hear this, all you peoples.
49:2 和合本 無論上流下流,富足貧窮,都當留心聽!
KJV Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
ASV Both low and high, Rich and poor together.
YLT Both low and high, together rich and needy.
BBE High and low together, the poor, and those who have wealth.
WEB Both low and high,
49:3 和合本 我口要說智慧的言語;我心要想通達的道理。
KJV My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
ASV My mouth shall speak wisdom; And the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
YLT My mouth speaketh wise things, And the meditations of my heart `are' things of understanding.
BBE From my mouth will come words of wisdom; and in the thoughts of my heart will be knowledge.
WEB My mouth will speak words of wisdom.
49:4 和合本 我要側耳聽比喻,用琴解謎語。
KJV I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
ASV I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
YLT I incline to a simile mine ear, I open with a harp my riddle:
BBE I will put my teaching into a story; I will make my dark sayings clear with music.
WEB I will incline my ear to a proverb.
49:5 和合本 在患難的日子,奸惡隨我腳跟,四面環繞我,我何必懼怕?
KJV Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
ASV Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, When iniquity at my heels compasseth me about?
YLT Why do I fear in days of evil? The iniquity of my supplanters doth compass me.
BBE What cause have I for fear in the days of evil, when the evil-doing of those who are working for my downfall is round about me?
WEB Why should I fear in the days of evil,
49:6 和合本 那些倚仗財貨自誇錢財多的人,
KJV They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
ASV They that trust in their wealth, And boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
YLT Those trusting on their wealth, And in the multitude of their riches, Do shew themselves foolish.
BBE Even of those whose faith is in their wealth, and whose hearts are lifted up because of their stores.
WEB Those who trust in their wealth,
49:7 和合本 一個也無法贖自己的弟兄,也不能替他將贖價給神,
KJV None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
ASV None `of them' can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him;
YLT A brother doth no one at all ransom, He doth not give to God his atonement.
BBE Truly, no man may get back his soul for a price, or give to God the payment for himself;
WEB None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
49:8 和合本 叫他長遠活著,不見朽壞;因為贖他生命的價值極貴,只可永遠罷休。
KJV (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
ASV (For the redemption of their life is costly, And it faileth for ever;)
YLT And precious `is' the redemption of their soul, And it hath ceased -- to the age.
BBE (Because it takes a great price to keep his soul from death, and man is not able to give it.)

49:9 和合本
KJV That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.
ASV That he should still live alway, That he should not see corruption.
YLT And still he liveth for ever, He seeth not the pit.
BBE So that he might have eternal life, and never see the underworld.

49:10 和合本 他必見智慧人死,又見愚頑人和畜類人一同滅亡,將他們的財貨留給別人。
KJV For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
ASV For he shall see it. Wise men die; The fool and the brutish alike perish, And leave their wealth to others.
YLT For he seeth wise men die, Together the foolish and brutish perish, And have left to others their wealth.
BBE For he sees that wise men come to their end, and foolish persons of low behaviour come to destruction together, letting their wealth go to others.
WEB For he sees that wise men die;
49:11 和合本 他們心裡思想:他們的家室必永存,住宅必留到萬代;他們以自己的名稱自己的地。
KJV Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
ASV Their inward thought is, `that' their houses `shall continue' for ever, `And' their dwelling-places to all generations; They call their lands after their own names.
YLT Their heart `is': Their houses `are' to the age, Their tabernacles to all generations. They proclaimed their names over the lands.
BBE The place of the dead is their house for ever, and their resting-place through all generations; those who come after them give their names to their lands.
WEB Their inward thought is that their houses will endure forever,
49:12 和合本 但人居尊貴中不能長久,如同死亡的畜類一樣。
KJV Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
ASV But man `being' in honor abideth not: He is like the beasts that perish.
YLT And man in honour doth not remain, He hath been like the beasts, they have been cut off.
BBE But man, like the animals, does not go on for ever; he comes to an end like the beasts.
WEB But man, despite his riches, doesn't endure.
49:13 和合本 他們行的這道本為自己的愚昧;但他們以後的人還佩服他們的話語。(細拉)
KJV This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
ASV This their way is their folly: Yet after them men approve their sayings. Selah
YLT This their way `is' folly for them, And their posterity with their sayings are pleased. Selah.
BBE This is the way of the foolish; their silver is for those who come after them, and their children get the pleasure of their gold. (Selah.)
WEB This is the destiny of those who are foolish,
49:14 和合本 他們如同羊群派定下陰間;死亡必作他們的牧者。到了早晨,正直人必管轄他們;他們的美容必被陰間所滅,以致無處可存。
KJV Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
ASV They are appointed as a flock for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be for Sheol to consume, That there be no habitation for it.
YLT As sheep for Sheol they have set themselves, Death doth afflict them, And the upright rule over them in the morning, And their form `is' for consumption. Sheol `is' a dwelling for him.
BBE Death will give them their food like sheep; the underworld is their fate and they will go down into it; their flesh is food for worms; their form is wasted away; the underworld is their resting-place for ever.
WEB They are appointed as a flock for Sheol.
49:15 和合本 只是神必救贖我的靈魂脫離陰間的權柄,因他必收納我。(細拉)
KJV But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
ASV But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol; For he will receive me. Selah
YLT Only, God doth ransom my soul from the hand of Sheol, For He doth receive me. Selah.
BBE But God will get back my soul; for he will take me from the power of death. (Selah.)
WEB But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol,
49:16 和合本 見人發財、家室增榮的時候,你不要懼怕;
KJV Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
ASV Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, When the glory of his house is increased.
YLT Fear not, when one maketh wealth, When the honour of his house is abundant,
BBE Have no fear when wealth comes to a man, and the glory of his house is increased;
WEB Don't be afraid when a man is made rich,
49:17 和合本 因為,他死的時候什麼也不能帶去;他的榮耀不能隨他下去。
KJV For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
ASV For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away; His glory shall not descend after him.
YLT For at his death he receiveth nothing, His honour goeth not down after him.
BBE For at his death, he will take nothing away; his glory will not go down after him.
WEB For when he dies he shall carry nothing away.
49:18 和合本 他活著的時候,雖然自誇為有福(你若利己,人必誇獎你);
KJV Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
ASV Though while he lived he blessed his soul (And men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself,)
YLT For his soul in his life he blesseth, (And they praise thee when thou dost well for thyself.)
BBE Though he might have pride in his soul in his life-time, and men will give you praise if you do well for yourself,
WEB Though while he lived he blessed his soul"
49:19 和合本 他仍必歸到他歷代的祖宗那裡,永不見光。
KJV He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
ASV He shall go to the generation of his fathers; They shall never see the light.
YLT It cometh to the generation of his fathers, For ever they see not the light.
BBE He will go to the generation of his fathers; he will not see the light again.
WEB He shall go to the generation of his fathers.
49:20 和合本 人在尊貴中而不醒悟,就如死亡的畜類一樣。
KJV Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
ASV Man that is in honor, and understandeth not, Is like the beasts that perish. Psalm 50 A Psalm of Asaph.
YLT Man in honour, who understandest not, Hath been like the beasts, they have been cut off!
BBE Man, like the animals, does not go on for ever; he comes to an end like the beasts.
WEB A man who has riches without understanding,
