52:1 和合本 (以東人多益來告訴掃羅說:「大衛到了亞希米勒家。」那時,大衛作這訓誨詩,交與伶長。)勇士啊,你為何以作惡自誇?神的慈愛是常存的。
KJV Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
ASV Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God `endureth' continually.
YLT To the Overseer. -- An instruction, by David, in the coming in of Doeg the Edomite, and he declareth to Saul, and saith to him, `David came in unto the house of Ahimelech.' What, boasteth thou in evil, O mighty one? The kindness of God `is' all the day.
BBE <To the chief music-maker. Maschil. Of David. When Doeg the Edomite came to Saul saying, David has come to the house of Ahimelech.> Why do you take pride in wrongdoing, lifting yourself up against the upright man all the day?
WEB Why do you boast of mischief, mighty man?
52:2 和合本 你的舌頭邪惡詭詐,好像剃頭刀,快利傷人。
KJV The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
ASV Thy tongue deviseth very wickedness, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
YLT Mischiefs doth thy tongue devise, Like a sharp razor, working deceit.
BBE Purposing destruction, using deceit; your tongue is like a sharp blade.
WEB Your tongue plots destruction,
52:3 和合本 你愛惡勝似愛善,又愛說謊,不愛說公義。(細拉)
KJV Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
ASV Thou lovest evil more than good, And lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah
YLT Thou hast loved evil rather than good, Lying, than speaking righteousness. Selah.
BBE You have more love for evil than for good, for deceit than for works of righteousness. (Selah.)

52:4 和合本 詭詐的舌頭啊,你愛說一切毀滅的話!
KJV Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
ASV Thou lovest all devouring words, thou deceitful tongue.
YLT Thou hast loved all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
BBE Destruction is in all your words, O false tongue.
WEB You love all devouring words,
52:5 和合本 神也要毀滅你,直到永遠;他要把你拿去,從你的帳棚中抽出,從活人之地將你拔出。(細拉)
KJV God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
ASV God will likewise destroy thee for ever; He will take thee up, and pluck thee out of thy tent, And root thee out of the land of the living. Selah
YLT Also -- God doth break thee down for ever, Taketh thee, and pulleth thee out of the tent, And He hath uprooted thee Out of the land of the living. Selah.
BBE But God will put an end to you for ever; driving you out from your tent, uprooting you from the land of the living. (Selah.)

52:6 和合本 義人要看見而懼怕,並要笑他,
KJV The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
ASV The righteous also shall see `it', and fear, And shall laugh at him, `saying',
YLT And the righteous see, And fear, and laugh at him.
BBE The upright will see it with fear, and will say, laughing at you:

52:7 和合本 說:看哪,這就是那不以神為他力量的人,只倚仗他豐富的財物,在邪惡上堅立自己。
KJV Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
ASV Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his wickedness.
YLT `Lo, the man who maketh not God his strong place, And trusteth in the abundance of his riches, He is strong in his mischiefs.'
BBE See, this is the man who did not make God his strength, but had faith in his goods and his property, and made himself strong in his wealth.

52:8 和合本 至於我,就像神殿中的青橄欖樹;我永永遠遠倚靠神的慈愛。
KJV But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
ASV But as for me, I am like a green olive-tree in the house of God: I trust in the lovingkindness of God for ever and ever.
YLT And I, as a green olive in the house of God, I have trusted in the kindness of God, To the age and for ever,
BBE But I am like a branching olive-tree in the house of God; I have put my faith in his mercy for ever and ever.
WEB But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in God's house.
52:9 和合本 我要稱謝你,直到永遠,因為你行了這事。我也要在你聖民面前仰望你的名;這名本為美好。
KJV I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
ASV I will give thee thanks for ever, because thou hast done it; And I will hope in thy name, for it is good, in the presence of thy saints. Psalm 53 For the Chief Musician; set to Mahalath. Maschil of David.
YLT I thank Thee to the age, because Thou hast done `it', And I wait `on' Thy name for `it is' good before Thy saints!
BBE I will give you praise without end for what you have done; I will give honour to your name before your saints, for it is good.
