14:1 和合本 耶和華要憐恤雅各,必再揀選以色列,將他們安置在本地。寄居的必與他們聯合,緊貼雅各家。
KJV For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
ASV For Jehovah will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the sojourner shall join himself with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
YLT Because Jehovah loveth Jacob, And hath fixed again on Israel, And given them rest on their own land, And joined hath been the sojourner to them, And they have been admitted to the house of Jacob.
BBE For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will again make Israel his special people, and will put them in their land; and the man from a strange country will take his place among them and be joined to the family of Jacob.
WEB For Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. The foreigner will join himself with them, and they will unite with the house of Jacob.
14:2 和合本 外邦人必將他們帶回本土;以色列家必在耶和華的地上得外邦人為僕婢,也要擄掠先前擄掠他們的,轄制先前欺壓他們的。

ASV And the peoples shall take them, and bring them to their place; and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of Jehovah for servants and for handmaids: and they shall take them captive whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
YLT And peoples have taken them, And have brought them in unto their place, And the house of Israel have inherited them, On the land of Jehovah, For men-servants and for maid-servants, And they have been captors of their captors, And have ruled over their exactors.
BBE And the people will take them with them to their place: and the children of Israel will give them a heritage in the Lord's land as men-servants and women-servants, making them prisoners whose prisoners they were; and they will be rulers over their masters.
WEB The peoples will take them, and bring them to their place. The house of Israel will possess them in the Yahweh's land for servants and for handmaids. They will take as captives those whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
14:3 和合本 當耶和華使你脫離愁苦、煩惱,並人勉強你做的苦工,得享安息的日子,
KJV And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
ASV And it shall come to pass in the day that Jehovah shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy trouble, and from the hard service wherein thou wast made to serve,
YLT And it hath come to pass, In the day of Jehovah's giving rest to thee, From thy grief, and from thy trouble, And from the sharp bondage, That hath been served upon thee,
BBE And it will be, in the day when the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your trouble, and from the hard yoke which they had put on you,

14:4 和合本 你必提這詩歌論巴比倫王說:欺壓人的何竟息滅?強暴的何竟止息?
KJV That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
ASV that thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
YLT That thou hast taken up this simile Concerning the king of Babylon, and said, How hath the exactor ceased,
BBE That you will take up this bitter song against the king of Babylon, and say, How has the cruel overseer come to an end! He who was lifted up in pride is cut off;

14:5 和合本 耶和華折斷了惡人的杖,轄制人的圭,
KJV The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.

14:6 和合本 就是在忿怒中連連攻擊眾民的,在怒氣中轄制列國,行逼迫無人阻止的。
KJV He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
ASV that smote the peoples in wrath with a continual stroke, that ruled the nations in anger, with a persecution that none restrained.
YLT He who is smiting peoples in wrath, A smiting without intermission, He who is ruling in anger nations, Pursuing without restraint!
BBE He whose rod was on the peoples with an unending wrath, ruling the nations in passion, with an uncontrolled rule.

14:7 和合本 現在全地得安息,享平靜;人皆發聲歡呼。

14:8 和合本 松樹和利巴嫩的香柏樹都因你歡樂,說:自從你仆倒,再無人上來砍伐我們。
KJV Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
ASV Yea, the fir-trees rejoice at thee, `and' the cedars of Lebanon, `saying', Since thou art laid low, no hewer is come up against us.
YLT Even firs have rejoiced over thee, Cedars of Lebanon -- `saying': Since thou hast lain down, The hewer cometh not up against us.
BBE Even the trees of the wood are glad over you, the trees of Lebanon, saying, From the time of your fall no wood-cutter has come up against us with an axe.

14:9 和合本 你下到陰間,陰間就因你震動來迎接你,又因你驚動在世曾為首領的陰魂,並使那曾為列國君王的,都離位站起。
KJV Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

14:10 和合本 他們都要發言對你說:你也變為軟弱像我們一樣嗎?你也成了我們的樣子嗎?
KJV All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
ASV All they shall answer and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

14:11 和合本 你的威勢和你琴瑟的聲音都下到陰間。你下鋪的是蟲,上蓋的是蛆。
KJV Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
ASV Thy pomp is brought down to Sheol, `and' the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and worms cover thee.
YLT Brought down to Sheol hath been thine excellency, The noise of thy psaltery, Under thee spread out hath been the worm, Yea, covering thee is the worm.

14:12 和合本 明亮之星,早晨之子啊,你何竟從天墜落?你這攻敗列國的何竟被砍倒在地上?
KJV How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
ASV How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, that didst lay low the nations!
YLT How hast thou fallen from the heavens, O shining one, son of the dawn! Thou hast been cut down to earth, O weakener of nations.

ASV And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north;
YLT And thou saidst in thy heart: the heavens I go up, Above stars of God I raise my throne, And I sit in the mount of meeting in the sides of the north.
BBE For you said in your heart, I will go up to heaven, I will make my seat higher than the stars of God; I will take my place on the mountain of the meeting-place of the gods, in the inmost parts of the north.

14:14 和合本 我要升到高雲之上;我要與至上者同等。
KJV I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

14:15 和合本 然而,你必墜落陰間,到坑中極深之處。

14:16 和合本 凡看見你的都要定睛看你,留意看你,說:使大地戰抖,使列國震動,
KJV They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
ASV They that see thee shall gaze at thee, they shall consider thee, `saying', Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
YLT Thy beholders look to thee, to thee they attend, Is this the man causing the earth to tremble, Shaking kingdoms?
BBE Those who see you will be looking on you with care, they will be in deep thought, saying, Is this the troubler of the earth, the shaker of kingdoms?
WEB Those who see you will stare at you. They will ponder you, saying, "Is this the man who made the earth to tremble, who shook kingdoms;
14:17 和合本 使世界如同荒野,使城邑傾覆,不釋放被擄的人歸家,是這個人嗎?
KJV That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
ASV that made the world as a wilderness, and overthrew the cities thereof; that let not loose his prisoners to their home?
YLT He hath made the world as a wilderness, And his cities he hath broken down, Of his bound ones he opened not the house.
BBE Who made the world a waste, overturning its towns; who did not let his prisoners loose from the prison-house.

14:18 和合本 列國的君王俱各在自己陰宅的榮耀中安睡。
KJV All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

14:19 和合本 惟獨你被拋棄,不得入你的墳墓,好像可憎的枝子,以被殺的人為衣,就是被刀刺透,墜落坑中石頭那裡的;你又像被踐踏的屍首一樣。
KJV But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
ASV But thou art cast forth away from thy sepulchre like an abominable branch, clothed with the slain, that are thrust through with the sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a dead body trodden under foot.

BBE But you, like a birth before its time, are stretched out with no resting-place in the earth; clothed with the bodies of the dead who have been put to the sword, who go down to the lowest parts of the underworld; a dead body, crushed under foot.

14:20 和合本 你不得與君王同葬;因為你敗壞你的國,殺戮你的民。惡人後裔的名,必永不提說。
KJV Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
ASV Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, thou hast slain thy people; the seed of evil-doers shall not be named for ever.

BBE As for your fathers, you will not be united with them in their resting-place, because you have been the cause of destruction to your land, and of death to your people; the seed of the evil-doer will have no place in the memory of man.

14:21 和合本 先人既有罪孽,就要預備殺戮他的子孫,免得他們興起來,得了遍地,在世上修滿城邑。
KJV Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

KJV I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.
ASV I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith Jehovah of hosts.
YLT And have made it for a possession of a bittern, And ponds of waters, And daubed it with the mire of destruction, The affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts!

14:25 和合本 就是在我地上打折亞述人,在我山上將他踐踏。他加的軛必離開以色列人;他加的重擔必離開他們的肩頭。
KJV That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.

14:27 和合本 萬軍之耶和華既然定意,誰能廢棄呢?他的手已經伸出,誰能轉回呢?

14:29 和合本 非利士全地啊,不要因擊打你的杖折斷就喜樂。因為從蛇的根必生出毒蛇;他所生的是火焰的飛龍。
KJV Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
ASV Rejoice not, O Philistia, all of thee, because the rod that smote thee is broken; for out of the serpent's root shall come forth an adder, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

14:30 和合本 貧寒人的長子必有所食;窮乏人必安然躺臥。我必以饑荒治死你的根;你所餘剩的人必被殺戮。
KJV And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.
ASV And the first-born of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety; and I will kill thy root with famine, and thy remnant shall be slain.
YLT And delighted have the first-born of the poor, And the needy in confidence lie down, And I have put to death with famine thy root, And thy remnant it slayeth.
BBE And the poorest of the land will have food, and those in need will be given a safe resting-place: but your seed will come to an end for need of food, and the rest of you will be put to the sword.

14:31 和合本 門哪,應當哀號!城啊,應當呼喊!非利士全地啊,你都消化了!因為有煙從北方出來,他行伍中並無亂隊的。
KJV Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.

14:32 和合本 可怎樣回答外邦(或指非利士)的使者呢?必說:耶和華建立了錫安;他百姓中的困苦人必投奔在其中。
KJV What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.
ASV What then shall one answer the messengers of the nation? That Jehovah hath founded Zion, and in her shall the afflicted of his people take refuge.
YLT And what doth one answer the messengers of a nation? `That Jehovah hath founded Zion, And in it do the poor of His people trust!'
BBE What answer, then, will my people give to the representatives of the nation? That the Lord is the builder of Zion, and she will be a safe place for the poor of his people.
WEB What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That Yahweh has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people will take refuge.
