51:1 和合本 你們這追求公義、尋求耶和華的,當聽我言!你們要追想被鑿而出的磐石,被挖而出的巖穴。
KJV Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
ASV Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek Jehovah: look unto the rock whence ye were hewn, and to the hold of the pit whence ye were digged.
YLT Hearken unto Me, ye pursuing righteousness, Seeking Jehovah, Look attentively unto the rock -- ye have been hewn, And unto the hole of the pit -- ye have been digged.
BBE Give ear to me, you who are searching for righteousness, who are looking for the Lord: see the rock from which you were cut out, and the hole out of which you were taken.
WEB Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh: look to the rock whence you were hewn, and to the hold of the pit whence you were dug.
51:2 和合本 要追想你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕和生養你們的撒拉;因為亞伯拉罕獨自一人的時候,我選召他,賜福與他,使他人數增多。
KJV Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

51:3 和合本 耶和華已經安慰錫安和錫安一切的荒場,使曠野像伊甸,使沙漠像耶和華的園囿;在其中必有歡喜、快樂、感謝,和歌唱的聲音。
KJV For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
ASV For Jehovah hath comforted Zion; he hath comforted all her waste places, and hath made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
YLT For Jehovah hath comforted Zion, He hath comforted all her wastes, And He setteth her wilderness as Eden, And her desert as a garden of Jehovah, Joy, yea, gladness is found in her, Confession, and the voice of song.
BBE For the Lord has given comfort to Zion: he has made glad all her broken walls; making her waste places like Eden, and changing her dry land into the garden of the Lord; joy and delight will be there, praise and the sound of melody.
WEB For Yahweh has comforted Zion; he has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Yahweh; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
51:4 和合本 我的百姓啊,要向我留心;我的國民哪,要向我側耳;因為訓誨必從我而出;我必堅定我的公理為萬民之光。
KJV Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
ASV Attend unto me, O my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.
YLT Attend unto Me, O My people, And, O My nation, unto Me give ear. For a law from Me goeth out, And My judgment to the light, Peoples I do cause to rest.
BBE Give attention to me, O my people; and give ear to me, O my nation; for teaching will go out from me, and the knowledge of the true God will be a light to the peoples.

51:5 和合本 我的公義臨近;我的救恩發出。我的膀臂要審判萬民;海島都要等候我,倚賴我的膀臂。

BBE Suddenly will my righteousness come near, and my salvation will be shining out like the light; the sea-lands will be waiting for me, and they will put their hope in my strong arm.

51:6 和合本 你們要向天舉目,觀看下地;因為天必像煙雲消散,地必如衣服漸漸舊了;其上的居民也要如此死亡(如此死亡:或作像蠓蟲死亡)。惟有我的救恩永遠長存;我的公義也不廢掉。

BBE Let your eyes be lifted up to the heavens, and turned to the earth which is under them: for the heavens will go in flight like smoke, and the earth will become old like a coat, and its people will come to destruction like insects: but my salvation will be for ever, and my righteousness will not come to an end.

51:8 和合本 因為蛀蟲必咬他們,好像咬衣服;蟲子必咬他們,如同咬羊絨。惟有我的公義永遠長存,我的救恩直到萬代。
KJV For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

YLT For as a garment eat them doth a moth, And as wool eat them doth a worm, And My righteousness is to the age, And My salvation to all generations.

KJV Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
ASV Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of Jehovah; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Is it not thou that didst cut Rahab in pieces, that didst pierce the monster?
YLT Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of Jehovah, Awake, as `in' days of old, generations of the ages, Art not Thou it that is hewing down Rahab, Piercing a dragon!
BBE Awake! awake! put on strength, O arm of the Lord, awake! as in the old days, in the generations long past. Was it not by you that Rahab was cut in two, and the dragon Wounded?

51:11 和合本 耶和華救贖的民必歸回,歌唱來到錫安;永樂必歸到他們的頭上。他們必得著歡喜快樂;憂愁歎息盡都逃避。
KJV Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
ASV And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy; `and' sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

BBE Those whom the Lord has made free will come back with songs to Zion; and on their heads will be eternal joy: delight and joy will be theirs, and sorrow and sounds of grief will be gone for ever.

51:12 和合本 惟有我,是安慰你們的。你是誰,竟怕那必死的人?怕那要變如草的世人?
KJV I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
ASV I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou art afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass;
YLT I -- I `am' He -- your comforter, Who `art' thou -- and thou art afraid of man? he dieth! And of the son of man -- grass he is made!
BBE I, even I, am your comforter: are you so poor in heart as to be in fear of man who will come to an end, and of the son of man who will be like grass?
WEB I, even I, am he who comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;
51:13 和合本 卻忘記鋪張諸天、立定地基、創造你的耶和華?又因欺壓者圖謀毀滅要發的暴怒,整天害怕,其實那欺壓者的暴怒在那裡呢?

YLT And thou dost forget Jehovah thy maker, Who is stretching out the heavens, and founding earth, And thou dost fear continually all the day, Because of the fury of the oppressor, As he hath prepared to destroy. And where `is' the fury of the oppressor?
BBE And you have given no thought to the Lord your Maker, by whom the heavens were stretched out, and the earth placed on its base; and you went all day in fear of the wrath of the cruel one, when he was making ready for your destruction. And where is the wrath of the cruel one?
WEB and have forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he makes ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
51:14 和合本 被擄去的快得釋放,必不死而下坑;他的食物也不至缺乏。
KJV The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
ASV The captive exile shall speedily be loosed; and he shall not die `and go down' into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.
YLT Hastened hath a wanderer to be loosed, And he doth not die at the pit, And his bread is not lacking.
BBE The prisoner, bent under his chain, will quickly be made free, and will not go down into the underworld, and his bread will not come to an end.
WEB The captive exile shall speedily be freed; and he shall not die and go down into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.
51:15 和合本 我是耶和華你的神攪動大海,使海中的波浪匉訇萬軍之耶和華是我的名。
KJV But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.
ASV For I am Jehovah thy God, who stirreth up the sea, so that the waves thereof roar: Jehovah of hosts is his name.
YLT And I `am' Jehovah thy God, Quieting the sea, when its billows roar, Jehovah of Hosts `is' His name.
BBE For I am the Lord your God, who makes the sea calm when its waves are thundering: the Lord of armies is his name.

KJV But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
ASV and I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee, that have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over; and thou hast laid thy back as the ground, and as the street, to them that go over.
YLT And I have put it into the hand of those afflicting thee, Who have said to thy soul, Bow down, and we pass over, And thou makest as the earth thy body, And as the street to those passing by!'
BBE And I will put it into the hand of your cruel masters, and of those whose yoke has been hard on you; who have said to your soul, Down on your face! so that we may go over you: and you have given your backs like the earth, even like the street, for them to go over.
