12:6 和合本 他說這話,並不是掛念窮人,乃因他是個賊,又帶著錢囊,常取其中所存的。

12:8 和合本 因為常有窮人和你們同在,只是你們不常有我。」

12:9 和合本 有許多猶太人知道耶穌在那裡,就來了,不但是為耶穌的緣故,也是要看他從死裡所復活的拉撒路。

KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

KJV The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
ASV The multitude therefore answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

12:35 和合本 耶穌對他們說:「光在你們中間還有不多的時候,應當趁著有光行走,免得黑暗臨到你們;那在黑暗裡行走的,不知道往何處去。
KJV Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
ASV Jesus therefore said unto them, Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness overtake you not: and he that walketh in the darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
YLT Jesus, therefore, said to them, `Yet a little time is the light with you; walk while ye have the light, that darkness may not overtake you; and he who is walking in the darkness hath not known where he goeth;
BBE Jesus said to them, For a little time longer the light will be among you; while you have the light go on walking in it, so that the dark may not overtake you: one walking in the dark has no knowledge of where he is going.

12:36 和合本 你們應當趁著有光,信從這光,使你們成為光明之子。」耶穌說了這話,就離開他們隱藏了。
KJV While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
ASV While ye have the light, believe on the light, that ye may become sons of light. These things spake Jesus, and he departed and hid himself from them.

12:38 和合本 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話,說:主啊,我們所傳的有誰信呢?主的膀臂向誰顯露呢?
KJV That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
ASV that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
YLT that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, `Lord, who gave credence to our report? and the arm of the Lord -- to whom was it revealed?'

12:40 和合本 主叫他們瞎了眼,硬了心,免得他們眼睛看見,心裡明白,回轉過來,我就醫治他們。
KJV He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
ASV He hath blinded their eyes, and he hardened their heart; Lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, And should turn, And I should heal them.
