5:13 和合本 那醫好的人不知道是誰;因為那裡的人多,耶穌已經躲開了。
KJV And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
ASV But he that was healed knew not who it was; for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in the place.
YLT But he that was healed had not known who he is, for Jesus did move away, a multitude being in the place.

5:16 和合本 所以猶太人逼迫耶穌,因為他在安息日做了這事。

5:18 和合本 所以猶太人越發想要殺他;因他不但犯了安息日,並且稱神為他的父,將自己和神當作平等。

ASV For this cause therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only brake the sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

5:19 和合本 耶穌對他們說:「我實實在在的告訴你們,子憑著自己不能做什麼,惟有看見父所做的,子才能做;父所做的事,子也照樣做。
KJV Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
ASV Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doeth, these the Son also doeth in like manner.
YLT Jesus therefore responded and said to them, `Verily, verily, I say to you, The Son is not able to do anything of himself, if he may not see the Father doing anything; for whatever things He may do, these also the Son in like manner doth;
BBE So Jesus made answer and said, Truly I say to you, The Son is not able to do anything himself; he is able to do only what he sees the Father doing; whatever the Father does the Son does it in the same way.
WEB Jesus therefore answered them, "Most assuredly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.
5:20 和合本 父愛子,將自己所作的一切事指給他看,還要將比這更大的事指給他看,叫你們希奇。
KJV For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
ASV For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and greater works than these will he show him, that ye may marvel.
YLT for the Father doth love the Son, and doth shew to him all things that He himself doth; and greater works than these He will shew him, that ye may wonder.
BBE For the Father has love for the Son and lets him see everything which he does: and he will let him see greater works than these so that you may be full of wonder.

5:21 和合本 父怎樣叫死人起來,使他們活著,子也照樣隨自己的意思使人活著。
KJV For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
ASV For as the Father raiseth the dead and giveth them life, even so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.
YLT `For, as the Father doth raise the dead, and doth make alive, so also the Son doth make alive whom he willeth;
BBE In the same way, as the Father gives life to the dead, even so the Son gives life to those to whom he is pleased to give it.

5:22 和合本 父不審判什麼人,乃將審判的事全交與子,
KJV For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

BBE The Father is not the judge of men, but he has given all decisions into the hands of the Son;

5:23 和合本 叫人都尊敬子如同尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的,就是不尊敬差子來的父。
KJV That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
ASV that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.
YLT that all may honour the Son according as they honour the Father; he who is not honouring the Son, doth not honour the Father who sent him.
BBE So that all men may give honour to the Son even as they give honour to the Father. He who gives no honour to the Son gives no honour to the Father who sent him.

5:24 和合本 我實實在在的告訴你們,那聽我話、又信差我來者的,就有永生;不至於定罪,是已經出死入生了。
KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
ASV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.
YLT `Verily, verily, I say to you -- He who is hearing my word, and is believing Him who sent me, hath life age-during, and to judgment he doth not come, but hath passed out of the death to the life.
BBE Truly I say to you, The man whose ears are open to my word and who has faith in him who sent me, has eternal life; he will not be judged, but has come from death into life.
WEB "Most assuredly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
5:25 和合本 我實實在在的告訴你們,時候將到,現在就是了,死人要聽見神兒子的聲音,聽見的人就要活了。
KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
ASV Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.
YLT `Verily, verily, I say to you -- There cometh an hour, and it now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and those having heard shall live;

5:30 和合本 「我憑著自己不能做什麼,我怎麼聽見就怎麼審判。我的審判也是公平的;因為我不求自己的意思,只求那差我來者的意思。」
KJV I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
ASV I can of myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is righteous; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

5:32 和合本 另有一位給我作見證,我也知道他給我作的見證是真的。
KJV There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

5:34 和合本 其實,我所受的見證不是從人來的;然而,我說這些話,為要叫你們得救。
KJV But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.
ASV But the witness which I receive is not from man: howbeit I say these things, that ye may be saved.
YLT `But I do not receive testimony from man, but these things I say that ye may be saved;
BBE But I have no need of a man's witness: I only say these things so that you may have salvation.

5:35 和合本 約翰是點著的明燈,你們情願暫時喜歡他的光。
KJV He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
ASV He was the lamp that burneth and shineth; and ye were willing to rejoice for a season in his light.
YLT he was the burning and shining lamp, and ye did will to be glad, for an hour, in his light.

5:36 和合本 但我有比約翰更大的見證;因為父交給我要我成就的事,就是我所作的事,這便見證我是父所差來的。

5:38 和合本 你們並沒有他的道存在心裡;因為他所差來的,你們不信。
KJV And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

YLT and His word ye have not remaining in you, because whom He sent, him ye do not believe.

5:39 和合本 你們查考聖經(或作:應當查考聖經),因你們以為內中有永生;給我作見證的就是這經。
KJV Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

KJV How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
